Kindergarten

Our mission is to teach each individual student that enters our classrooms. The classroom environment is structured so that students can learn in an environment where they feel loved and safe. We believe that God has each child on their own academic growth plan and partnering with parents is paramount to student success. Our relationships with Jesus are the cornerstone and foundation for teaching kinder students. We absolutely love Jesus and love teaching Kindergarten. Kindergarten supports the Early Learning Standards supported by the State of Washington.

About the Teacher

Mrs. Graves

I received my master’s in early childhood education this summer and am thrilled to be one hundred percent back in the classroom. I absolutely love teaching kindergarten! This age is such a formative age and I love being a part of it. I am married and we have two boys who attend Cornerstone. Jesus is every part of my life and I love to talk about Jesus with the kiddos. My favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 40 verse 31, but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Mrs. Graves' Fun Fact:
- I LOVE Coffee... (you rarely see me without it).
- Books are a favorite of mine and I adore reading to the class!
- On my "off" time, I like to camp, hike and play with my camera.
